7.5t Delivery Driver – BS35

Job description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our valued client based in Avonmouth on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across the southwest.
This position is an average of 45 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 2 days off rota. Overtime is available in addition to a performance based quarterly bonus – OTE £35,000
Job requirements:
– Full UK driving licence (Category C1 or C) with no more than 6 penalty points
– Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
– Experience in multi-drop deliveries
– Physically fit and willing to load/unload goods
– Strong communication and customer service skills
– Good time management and attention to detail
– A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude
Additional information:
Key Responsibilities
– Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
– Delivering and installing products including washing machines, dishwashers and TVs (full training and tools provided)
– Providing a professional, friendly service to customers
– Completing delivery paperwork accurately
– Planning routes and navigating efficiently while adhering to all road traffic laws
– Loading and unloading goods safely
